And, here’s the kicker: if you clap your hands, the echo makes a quirky chirping sound, like a bird singing!
- Tulum, Quintana Roo Beaches Straight Out of a FairytaleNow, picture a beach with the softest sand and an ocean that’s every shade of blue. Welcome to Tulum! You can swim with colorful fish or explore underwater caves called cenotes. When night falls, there’s a street named Quinta Avenida, and it’s party central. Music galore! 🎶
- Oaxaca City, Oaxaca A Feast for Your Taste BudsNext up, we’re heading to Oaxaca, which is like the coolest place ever for food and parties. Markets here are bursting with color and yummy smells. Do give the tamales and Mezcal a whirl. And, if you’re in town when Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is on, you’ll be blown away by the cool costumes and masks!
- Teotihuacán, State of Mexico Strolling Amongst the PyramidsA hop, skip, and a jump away from bustling Mexico City, there’s Teotihuacán, where you can eyeball two huge pyramids. It’s like being in an Indiana Jones flick! If you’re up for a workout, try climbing to the top of the Pyramid of the Sun. They say up there you can almost touch the sky!
- Guanajuato, Guanajuato A Rainbow of HousesWe wrap up our whirlwind tour in Guanajuato. This city is like a rainbow with all its colorful houses. It’s just too much fun to wander around the alleyways while jamming to the tunes floating around. There are also some rad museums like the home of the super famous painter, Diego Rivera, and a museum with real mummies!
